What will you do as a Financial Controller?
Responsible for the financial strategic planning of the European business.
Assisting in raising and securing capital investment in order to execute strategic plans and
maintain the minimum regulatory requirements.
Responsible for European finance function including, but not limited to, financial reporting, planning and operations
Responsible for the strategic development of the Finance Operations
Responsible for all Banking relationships
Assisting with all HR and payroll functions
Evaluating the pricing of products and client contracts and providing direction to the Board of the same.
Preparation of the annual budget
Preparation of the monthly rolling forecast
Develop, maintain and continuously update the process for budgeting and forecasting
Comparison of actual results against budget and comment on the variances
Preparation of any other financial regulatory return to the FSC as required.
Analytical investigations on reported figures to assist in the decision making of senior management.
Develop financial reports in conjunction with our developers.
Develop, maintain and continuously update a Management Information Pack for the Board of Directors.
Oversee the management of the annual audit as required
Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director
What do you know that makes you a great Financial Controller?
o At least 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate treasury, corporate finance or related areas within a banking environment
o Professional accounting qualification (preferably CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
o Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
o Experience in using SAGE is preferable
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
