RecruitGibraltar are currently recruiting for a Messenger to join a long established and reputable international locally based company who offer long term career growth. They are a privately owned company that have 20+ offices globally and have shown consistent growth since their inception over 20 years ago.

This is an office-based role from 9am - 6pm. You must live in the Gibraltar or Southern Spain area

What will you do as a Messenger?

• Clarifying your scheduled and anticipated deliveries before each shift begins.
• Fetching, checking, and signing for parcels at their respective collection points.
• Taking special care to load the parcels into your bag or vehicle in a safe manner.
• Devising and choosing the most effective routes.
• Transporting items to drop-off locations.
• Ensuring that both yourself and the recipient sign all relevant documentation upon delivery when needed.
• Checking to see that you have completed all work allocated for the day.
• Advising your line manager of deliveries that could not be fulfilled.
• Remaining friendly and helpful as you conduct your duties.


What do you know that makes you a great Messenger?

• Prior work experience is expected
• You will have excellent customer service skills
• You must have excellent local knowledge of Gibraltar streets, buildings etc so it is expected that you grew up here
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish is essential
• You must be able to pay close attention to details, as you will be responsible for accurately delivering messages and distributing important communications.
• You must hold a moped / moto driving license.
• You will have GSCEs in both English and Maths


Salary £17k - £18k based on experience
