What is the plan for the Personal Lines Insurance Supervisor role?
To supervise and manage the personal lines team to ensure the objective and profitable assessment of risks in accordance with current underwriting guidelines and authority limits whist delivering a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
What will you do as a Personal Lines Insurance Supervisor?
Supervise and assist team members with day to day activities.
Assist management on underwriting policy and practices.
Make underwriting decisions to attract new or retain existing business.
Responsible for Performance management, staff training and development of the personal lines team.
Encourage cross selling of products.
Respond to internal and external client and broker queries in person, by phone e-mail or fax.
Assist with Product Development and review of current products, wordings, proposals and other documentation.
What do you know that makes you a great Personal Lines Insurance Supervisor?
Solid previous experience in a similar role
Sound educational background with some post secondary education.
Willingness to progress toward relevant professional designations (e.g. ACII, CPCU, etc.)
Computer literate and sound knowledge of AIS system preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Fluent in English and Maltese
Salary 30k - 35k based on experience with benefits package.
