What will you do as a Financial Controller?

 Responsible for the financial strategic planning of the European business.
 Assisting in raising and securing capital investment in order to execute strategic plans and
maintain the minimum regulatory requirements.
 Responsible for European finance function including, but not limited to, financial reporting, planning and operations
 Responsible for the strategic development of the Finance Operations
 Responsible for all Banking relationships
 Assisting with all HR and payroll functions
 Evaluating the pricing of products and client contracts and providing direction to the Board of the same.
 Preparation of the annual budget
 Preparation of the monthly rolling forecast
 Develop, maintain and continuously update the process for budgeting and forecasting
 Comparison of actual results against budget and comment on the variances
 Preparation of any other financial regulatory return to the FSC as required.
 Analytical investigations on reported figures to assist in the decision making of senior management.
 Develop financial reports in conjunction with our developers.
 Develop, maintain and continuously update a Management Information Pack for the Board of Directors.
 Oversee the management of the annual audit as required
 Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director

What do you know that makes you a great Financial Controller?

o At least 5 years of relevant work experience in corporate treasury, corporate finance or related areas within a banking environment
o Professional accounting qualification (preferably CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
o Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
o Experience in using SAGE is preferable
o Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
