Recruit Gibraltar is currently looking for a Training & Development Executive to join a well established, Malta based company who specialises in importation and distribution throughout Malta & Gozo.
The candidate is expected to:
Learn and be the champion to enhance the vision, mission, culture and values throughout the organisation.
Assess the success of the training & development courses; compiling and present information to the Head of HR.
Identify, create or coordinate training program (including e-learning courses) for different levels of company staff, including leadership training on a managerial level.
Coordinate the provision of training to required training to employees delivered by third parties.
Design and oversee the implementation of a Performance Management System.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures related with training and development as per ISO 9001 requirements.
Mentor managers and employees in people management related matters.
Track budgets and negotiate contracts together with the Head of HR.
Act as the main point of contact for employees queries on HR-related topics and provide support as required, in particular related to Training and Development and Employee Relations.
Work closely with Managers to identify vacant roles, knowledge, skills and attributes required.
Support and participate in the recruitment and selection process.
Support the induction process and of new employees, ensure employees receive statutory required training and work closely with managers during the probation period to identify training requirements for new employees.
Work closely with managers in Talent Management by identifying training requirements and priorities (both individual & organisational needs), using performance management, succession planning, coaching and development planning aiming at reaching future organisation needs.
What makes you a great Training & Development Executive:
Prior experience working in a training role.
Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
Minimum of an A level standard of education.
Proficiency in English and Maltese.
Must show the ability to persuade and influence others.
Salary circa 25k based on experience plus benefits.
